Runes and Roots

The Runes and Roots program is an 8 session deep dive into the myth that is you. Guided by nature, oracle and mystery - this is not your typical mental health therapy. This program is for people who crave a boost, who don't really want to come to in-office therapy, and who long to create a deeper connection to ritual and spirit. Take a look at how it works...

The Runes chose, quite literally.

When this program was created, we asked the runes for guidance. This is the order and wisdom they offered:

Kenaz Reversed

Kenaz, or Kano, is the rune of fire and openings. In it's reversed position, it indicates darkness and a call to release what is no longer serving us. We so often avoid the dar, the hidden pain that haunts us. In this first phase, we will befriend discomfort and find what needs to be burned away so that the light can shine again.

Thurisaz

Thurisaz is the thorn, the gateway rune, an awakening. When it's cast it means that a time of transformation is at hand - one that requires our consent and purposeful action. This phase is all about looking back at the landscape we've already traversed, then stepping forward into the new land. There will be lots of ritual, lots of homework, and a sense of becoming who you're meant to be in this new chapter of your life.

Uruz

Uruz is the rune of strength and wild, primal nature. Big changes happen with this rune, often ones that are completely unexpected and live outside the box of our current lives. "Uruz indicates a rite of passage into awakened personhood," and as such, it's more of a felt sense than something we can easily explain. This phase is about how we manifest ourselves in the world, how we live our true selves and purpose, actively engaged in the wild creation process.

Raidho Reversed

Raidho is the rune of Journeys and Communication. Reversed, it indicates going within. We are going to take this quite literally this time. Instead of a journey through the world, this phase is a journey within yourself. Using psychedelics, hypnosis or sauna, you'll go on a journey within to discover wisdom that can only be transmuted in a non-ordinary state of consciousness.

Gebo

Gebo is the rune of relationship, partnership and gifts. In Judith Herman's trauma recovery model, the last phase of transformation is reconnecting to the world - so this is fitting. As we integrate your psychedelic journey and the transformation of the previous phases, this is also the time to actually give your gifts to the world and look for the new relational connections that are going to sustain you.

In this last phase, it's all about coming out of the cocoon and stretching your new wings!

Logistics and Details...

This program consists of 8 sessions:

Sessions 1-4 are held outside near Golden, CO and can be scheduled weekly. They are 3 hours each.
Session 5 is your full day psychedelic journey, held at Transcendent Integrative Health in Arvada, a licensed healing center.
Sessions 6-8 are held outside again and are 3 hours each.

The cost of this program is $3,700. The breakdown:

21 hours of one-on-one work.
Full day of psychedelic journeying.
Healing center fees.
Plant medicine.
Insurance, license fees, state required stuff, etc...

We can skip the psychedelic journeying
Or journey with cannabis, drums and heat/breathwork.
